Traditional Chinoiserie hand-painted silk wallpapers customarily adorning English and French estates and chateaux since the 17th century are scaled down and framed into a diptych (pair) by Simon Paul Scott for Jardins en Fleur.
These depict traditional Chinoiserie botanicals and magnolia flowers rendered in pale shades with brightly adorned birds and butterflies as pops of color hand-painted on a muted celadon colored silk with an underlying glistening sheen. Due to the hand-made nature of each piece, minimal variations may occur.
Framed in solid wood 1" square moulding with hand-applied and burnished silver leaf and a slight antiquing finish to soften the silver.
Each panel measures approximately 24" wide x 48" high. Arrive ready to hang. We frame them to order so while we make every effort to expedite them, please allow up to 14 business days maximum before they ship
